Moonlight.

This was our first attempt to replicate moonlight. We hadn’t done it before, and it turned out to be quite a challenge. Also, the physics of water behaved quite differently in real life than in our imagination. The more so, we are very happy with the outcome.

All products are printed in best German print houses in fine art quality.

We use only high quality frames of solid wood from German manufactors.

By leveraging the strengths of photography, we can incorporate real objects with their material texture, small details, and an overall sense of realism into an abstract, surreal idea. There is a certain magic inside this.
Making
To minimize the need for retouching, we aim to fasten objects in a scene as inconspicuously as possible. This approach reduces the need for manipulation and further strengthens the work's persuasiveness. Overall about two-thirds of our images are created entirely using our raw editing software of choice, Capture One. The remaining third require some additional work in Photoshop or one of its alternatives.
Materials.
Paper.
For paper-based prints, we use our favorite paper from the most renowned German manufacturer: Hanemühe Photo Rag. This robust paper features a pronounced texture while still reproducing even the finest details.
Frame.
We use only high-quality, German-made frames in a neutral wooden tone.
Aluminium.
Aluminium is our preferred material for its high-quality reproduction, attractive aesthetics, and practicality. Best of all, no frame is needed—everything for mounting is included, resulting in an elegant, minimalist solution.
