This work is the opposite of our other work, “Water Lily”. This time, the abstract shape floating mysteriously above the scene is the only light source in the image. It acts as a window which allows us to glimpse the otherwise hidden scene.
Behind the scenes.
We began our creative journey in 2023, the year of AI. We had real concerns: Was it the right time to start a big and demanding photography project? Would there be any demand or interest in our work, or could AI and robots replace us in the very near future?

We guess nobody knows for sure, and of course, we still harbor these concerns and fears. But we are very happy that we made the decision to give it a try.

For paper-based prints, we use our favorite paper from the most renowned German manufacturer: Hanemühe Photo Rag. This robust paper features a pronounced texture while still reproducing even the finest details.
